Instead of grouping players strictly by birth year, teams will now be organized to better align with a player 's school grade WHAT IS THE NEW CUTOFF DATE? Beginning with the 2026-2027 season, the new age group cutoff will run from August through July 31. This means players will generally be grouped with others in their same school grade.'

All clubs will be required to adopt this new age gr grouping structure beginning in the 2026 -2027 season. HOW WILL PLAYER PLACEMENT BE AFFECTED? Player placement for the 2026-2027 season will follow the new age group ranges.'
