Program Description

Chesapeake Soccer Club is a team-based youth recreational league that gives players of all experience levels a welcoming place to learn and enjoy the game. We emphasize soccer skill development, good sportsmanship, teamwork, and FUN. Every player is guaranteed to play at least half of each game.

      Galaxy Discovery (Ages 4–6)

Volunteer-led teams focused on introducing the game in a positive, playful environment
Sessions built around simple skills, active games, and building confidence
Emphasis on teamwork, friendships, and fostering a love of soccer

      Galaxy Foundations (Ages 6–10)

Ages 6–8 — Monday Practice | 5v5 Game Format
Ages 8–10 — Wednesday Practice | 7v7 Game Format

New hybrid academy-style training model
Technical training led by Coach Ethan Clark, a paid coach, to build strong fundamentals
After technical training, teams break out with their volunteer coaches for guided practice
Focus on skill development, decision-making, and preparing players for future competitive play

Practices: Each team will meet 1 time a week. Practices are meant to emphasize fundamental skills and teamwork.

Games: All games will be held on Fridays at 6:00 & 7:00. 

Where: all practices and games will be held at the Centerville Soccer complex
                  **U9/U10 possible away games

Coaches: As a volunteer-led league, we rely on the support and involvement of parents like you to make our recreational program a success! No prior coaching experience is necessary. Head coaches will have their child’s registration fee waived.
